RC Avila started Avila Contracting Services in 1989 with the founding principle of establishing a company that values quality workmanship. He formed his construction business in Bacolod City and pulled out resources to manage projects in Visayas and Mindanao for Manila-based contractors. Its initial ventures consisted primarily of steelworks.

Building upon early successes, RC Avila moved to Manila in 1991. He intensified a highly responsive and specialized practice with an emphasis on civil, mechanical, and electromechanical works in the petroleum industry. Avila Contracting Services became what we now know as Argentechs, Inc.

 

It is now an organization with a permanent resource base and a network of highly qualified professionals and skilled personnel fully equipped to serve various industries through a great deal of partnership in developing and constructing structural and mechanical designs comparable with its international counterparts.
